Sexist!
That's American Idol comic relief moppet-cum surgically-enhanced country popstar Kellie Pickler, and I'm gonna pretend I'm not embarrassed to be enjoying this. It's a one-joke song, but it don't overstay its welcome. And it's not like Pickler's going to be able to keep more than a single gag going; a double-entendre'd give her whiplash.
That steak ain't the only thing that's too thick, am I right, fellas? Har!
Pickler's just play-acting, both with her ‘tude and her vocal stylin's (some consistency in the latter would be welcome), and she does the dumb blonde thing so effectively you might think that she just got it.
There is a second joke, here. All them things crossed the minds of at least three men: Writers Tim Johnson, Don Poythress, and Wynn Varble. (A twelve-pack of Coors and The $25,000 Pyramid went uncredited.) Varble's a member of The Saddle Sores, a goof group responsible for the song "I Ain't Goin' Down on Brokeback Mountain (That Sh*t Ain't Right)." He then thought up this here song about how a man like him wouldn't ever think about interior decorating. Wynn might have issues. But gosh that Kellie Pickler's charming, ain't she?
For the record, no, I don't have any Jeff Foxworthy books in the john back at the cabin.
